about

I design brands, systems, and immersive experiences that feel cohesive from first touchpoint to final detail.

Portrait of Zoe Trungale

I'm a designer with a background in Emerging Media and Studio Art from Hunter College. My work sits at the intersection of structure and storytelling. I'm interested in how visual systems, narrative logic, and physical environments can work together as one cohesive ecosystem.

Before studying design, I was immersed in hands-on craft traditions — sewing, knitting, bread baking, printmaking — which instilled a deep respect for process and material thinking. That foundation continues to shape how I approach digital systems: thoughtfully, deliberately, and with attention to detail.

My path into design wasn't linear. I began in the sciences, later working in clinical trial coordination before pivoting fully into creative practice. That analytical experience sharpened my systems thinking — I now bring both structural logic and aesthetic intuition into my design work.

Whether developing a UI standards manual or building a fully immersive murder mystery world, I approach each project as a scalable system. I care about hierarchy, consistency, documentation, and the invisible frameworks that make creative work feel seamless.
